Our last full day on the ship we spent at sea once again. It was really windy so the upper decks with the basketball court, volleyball court, ping pong tables etc. were closed. We played several rounds of hand and foot. But they had other activities to keep us entertained. Here was the ice carving demonstration.
Here is the water slide that was also closed because of the wind, but all those lounge chairs are set up to watch the big screen TV in the next picture.
Here is a shot of the TV set up over the pool. If you click to enlarge the image you can see that we got coverage of the earthquake in Haiti. We were somewhere between Grand Cayman and Honduras when the earthquake hit and didn't feel any effects.
There were a couple of impressive buffets while we were on board. One was the midnight Mexican buffet. They had salmon enchiladas that were very tasty. The other one was the chocolate buffet on our last day at sea. They were carving up a loaf of fudge where each serving was as big as a slice of bread. They also had a chocolate fountain, chocolate sushi, milkshakes and tons of decadent desserts. At these special buffets they do sculptures and edible art arrangements. Here is a picture of a Mayan head in the midnight Mexican buffet. At first I thought it was creepy, but as I looked longer I decided it was amazing.
Our waiters were great and every night they performed some song for our dining pleasure. The waiters that were dancing on the tables were really good and never once fell off those tiny little tables.

That indian or mayan watermelon is awesome. We'll have to try the Valor ship next cruise because the food sounds awesome. We went on Destiny and the food was good but it wasn't as good as your food sounded. Plus the entertainment was pretty raunchy (however you spell that).
